Enhancing Unity & Integration: Our action for Vision 2020 & Beyond”President_Image

Dear fellow NRNs, PNOs, distinguished guests and participants,

Together with my colleagues at the Non-Resident Nepali Association National Coordination Council (NRN NCC USA), I wish you a very happy, healthy and prosperous New Year 2017!

It is my privilege to welcome you all to the 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of NRN NCC of USA, being held in Dallas Texas on this auspicious day of Jan 14, 2017. NRN USA is committed to enhancing unity, integrating Nepalese diaspora across the nation and being a role model for the future generation in the country and throughout the world. This General Meeting will certainly meet its objectives and guide us to put steps in the right direction to fulfil those commitments.

Being the largest NRN community in the world, NRN USA is contributing significantly to the needs and socio-economic development of Nepal. It is to our great satisfaction that we have been able to support the needy people affected by the recent earthquake in Nepal. I would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and thank everyone for their strong support to our motherland during this time of great need.

As you all know, this Annual General Meeting has its specific purpose to accomplish, such as preparing ourselves for the upcoming congregation of the entire diaspora around the globe, choosing a path where NRN can be very effective in a long run to support our motherland Nepal and securing our organization within widely acceptable regulatory framework. Along with this, we must draft our vision to be able to take on leadership roles here in the United States of America by promoting humanitarian and democratic values. We would also like to come up with a road map for integration of our cultural value, tradition, loyalty and professionalism into American mainstream. During this Annual General Assembly, we will interact with the key members of American icons.

Please do your best to attend our AGM. Your voice, concerns and suggestions are welcome. If you are unable to attend, please send in your proxy and suggestions so that your opinions and voting wishes are recorded.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to convey my best wishes to all the participants for the successful accomplishment of the goals and objectives targeted by this AGM and thank all the distinguished guests, Nepalese government representatives and diplomats, community leaders, social activists, media and everyone for their participation and support. At last but not the least, I would like to appreciate all NRNs and PNOs, including my own executive board members, advisors, task forces and committee members, organizers and sponsors who have been contributing their valuable time and resources towards making this program very successful.

God bless NRN, God bless America, God bless Nepal!!!

Best Regards,

Dr. Keshab Paudel
